philosophy


Our goal is to help you train with the consideration of how limited time is nowadays between juggling career, family obligations and social activities. The focus is on quality workouts versus quantity to better help you integrate training into your busy schedule.

We provide the athlete with a variety of services you need to reach your maximum athletic potential. Kinetics 360 collaborates with a selected network of partners to provide you the best and complete health, fitness & performance services. That includes Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Physicians, Nutritionists, Equipment Specialists and other related services.


coached swimming workouts

 

Swimming is a technique based sport. In order to become a better swimmer you must train consistently and incorporate drills. The best way to improve is to swim with a group, and have a coach on deck who can correct your form and give you real time feedback as needed. 

Coached swim workouts will take place at the Culver City Plunge 4175 Overland Avenue, Culver City, 90232

The workouts are designed specifically for triathletes and will prepare you for all the following races:
- Santa Barbara triathlon,
- Malibu triathlon (classic and olympic),
- San Diego Challenge
- LA triathlon (olympic and sprint)

We have reserved lanes in order to have a lane for each group - beginners, intermediate and advanced.
With 2 coaches on deck for extra attention, we have a structured training program with emphasis on drills, form, endurance and speed.

Two workouts are offered each week:

Monday, 7:30-8:30pm
Thursday, 6:00-7:00am

The first workout is free if you would like to try it out.

Cost for a workout is $10. If you would like to buy a 5 workout package, the cost is $45.

Triathlon Monthly Training Program (Minimum 3 months commitment ).....................$195/month
Single Sport Monthly Training Program (Running, Cycling).........................................$145/month

$50 initiation fees for primal evaluation (1-2 hours long) of personal and athletic background and goals.

An individual training program is tailored for each athlete, based on their goals, physical abilities and available training time. Each program will have daily instructions regarding the discipline(s) to train in, duration and intensity of the training session, and any other relevant information regarding training.

The emphasis is on open communication with no interaction limitations between the athlete and the coach, in order to properly track improvement.

The value of a personal coach becomes higher when a workout is missed due to family or work obligations, when an injury occurs, or when the training response does not appear to be working, and when a combination of any other variables disrupt the structured format of a training program. This is the extra step an athlete invests in – the ability to turn to a coach at any time to provide an educated, expert solution.

Services included but not limited to:

  • Season training and race planning
  • Nutrition analysis and tracking
  • Specific training zones according to heart rate and/or power (cycling)
  • Proper technique in all 3 sports (available as One-on-One sessions)
  • Strength, core and flexibility training
  • Gear and equipment advice
  • Race strategy
  • Progress report
  • Injury prevention

   

Annual Training Program…………………………………………………………………….................... $349

A complete customized training plan for the ENTIRE YEAR based on your personal schedule, goals, and selected races. The periodized training program is designed to allow for optimal performance and includes specific intensities, training volume, duration, workout frequencies, recoveries, and tapering for races. These programs are designed for an athlete who desires to train independently, but wants specific direction with no guesswork.

*** At any time while completing the program, you may e-mail basic program-related questions to your coach at info@kinetics360.com A question such as “can I race an Olympic distance triathlon instead of a scheduled 4 hour hard bike ride?” is acceptable. Yet, a question such as “I missed two weeks of training due to an illness/injury. What should I do next?” would be outside the scope of the support included with your program and you would be encouraged to sign-up for personal coaching.

 

Semi- Custom Training Program………………………………………………………………..............…$159

For the self-coached athletes, the option of a semi-custom training plan is available. If you are looking for direction in training without interaction between you and the coach, this option fits you. This option ensures you have a plan that is suited to your schedule, strengths and weaknesses and will give you the confidence to get to the finish line strong and confident.                                         

A short 20 minute phone conversation will start your custom build 12 weeks training program. Designed for those who intend to race in a Sprint or an Olympic distance triathlon.

One-on-One Consultation...……………..……………………………………………….....$75/hour

A 1-hour discussion via phone, Skype or in person (in the Los Angeles area), to find out the best weekly swim, bike, run routine, performance, nutrition and optimal training for your training goals. During your phone or personal consultation, your current training regimen, goals, and skills and any questions you may have are discussed in detail and answered

One-on-One session (Swim/Bike/Run/Strength)...................................................$85/hour
